LOCATION

Nestled amidst mango, guava and kadamba trees in the lush countryside of ISKCON Mayapur’s community in West Bengal, 120 Km north of Calcutta, the school and its residential Ashram buildings are ideally situated.

With the sacred confluence of the Ganges and Jalangi (Saraswati ) rivers in walking distance and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s most auspicious birthplace in sight, the atmosphere is perfect for spiritual advancement, as well as a peaceful setting for academic studies.

Since the school is located at ISKCON’s World Headquarters, both students and staff have the wonderful benefit of participating in ecstatic festivals attended by devotees and pilgrims from all over the world. The school often has inspirational guest speakers drawn from the visiting sannyasis and preachers. Frequently, the children accompany these respected visitors on parikrama to the multitude of holy places in surrounding villages. Our children thus gain a sound spiritual education that will uplift them for the rest of their lives.

1. Encouraging parents to visit whenever possible.
2. Regular reports on the progress of the children.
3. Organizing regular meetings between parents and teachers.
