ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The admission process is designed to enroll students demonstrating promise, while accommodating a wide variety of background and aptitudes. A Registration form is included in the prospectus. Registration does not imply admission, but is subject to the availability of seats, and the results of an Admission Interview with both parents and child. The child will be asked to write admission tests if successful at the interview. Once a candidate is successful in the Admission Interview/ Tests, the other formalities to be completed are:
   
1. Payment of all fees within due dates.
2. Submission of the carefully filled in Registration Form at the time of payment of fees
3. Submission of proof of the date of birth of the candidate supported by the birth certificate in original issued by the Municipal Corporation/Local Bodies as applicable, along with a Photostat copy thereof. This certificate is to be attached to the admission form.
4. Submission of a Transfer Certificate form from a recognized institution along with the Admission Form.

The fee structure of the SMIS is directly proportionate to the facilities provided by the institution and is subject to review at the beginning of every academic session. The admission once paid is nonrefundable for any reason whatsoever. Only the security deposit will be refunded after making necessary adjustments as may be applicable.

Day Students
Fees are charged on a quarterly basis. April, July, October, January. The last date payment is the 10th of the first month of every quarter i.e. April, July, October and January. A late fee is imposed there after, until the last day of the month. The name of the student is liable to be struck off the rolls if the fees are not paid within the last of the said months. Boarding (Ashram) Students

Fees are payable in two installments. The first payment is due at registration or in the case of registered students, at the start of the academic year. Please see Fees Pamphlet for details.
